Natalie Gibson, APRN, FNP-C, DNP

Natalie Gibson is a nationally board certified and licensed family nurse practitioner. Natalie graduated from the University of Utah Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner Program with honors. She has received recognition and awards in academics, community innovation, and leadership. Natalie has received additional training in lifestyle medicine and integrative medicine.

Natalie is committed to women's health, she has experience and additional training in contraceptive counselling (including nexplanon and IUDs), menses and menopause management, weight loss, sexual health, fertility (including evaluation and intrauterine insemination/IUI) and additional women-specific health needs.

She is also a dedicated ally to the LGBTQIP+ community and their unique health needs. 

Natalie is passionate about all things outdoors, from backpacking and bicycling to paddle boarding, fishing, yoga, back country skiing, and camping! Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and dog, she loves cooking and loves to make healthy food taste good!

Marisol Ortiz, LMT

Marisol has began her practice of Neuromuscular Therapy 20 years ago. She has had a private practice in Newport Beach, CA for the past 10 years. Life took her abroad to Melbourne, Australia where she was fortunate to study Myotherapy and train under licensed Acupuncturist, Myofascial Release specialist and Kinesiologists. A few years ago her husband got a job in Logan, Utah and she returned to the States. Marisol has provided treatments for people of all ages, from professional athletes to office athletes and people with an array of musculoskeletal conditions. She is passionate about finding solutions to restore balance, strength, increase mobility and decrease pain.

Katie Morrell Yanguez Woodland, APRN, FNP, DNP

Katie is a nationally board certified Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate of Advanced Nursing Practice from the University of Utah.

Katie has been in primary care for eight years providing care in community health for low-income, immigrant and refugee populations. Due to lack of resources in these communities, she has had the opportunity to develop a wide range of care from infants to elderly populations. She has extensive experience in prenatal care, newborns, infants, children and women’s health including gynecology and contraception management. She also has broad experience with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic pain, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, weight loss and other disease management. She is able to provide minor procedures such as skin biopsies, birth control insertion and removals, superficial cyst removals and other.

Prior to working in the primary care setting Katie worked in mental health nursing and worked with non-profit organizations. She collaborated in a variety of projects including establishing clinics in Ethiopia, building and supporting orphanages in Haiti and Ecuador, building low income housing in Panama, and developments to provide safe houses for street or sex trafficked women and children in Peru, among other projects.

Katie is fluent in English and Spanish.

In her downtime Katie enjoys traveling and spending time with her children, husband and extensive family.

Kellie Nielsen, APRN, FNP-C, DNP

Kellie Rogers Nielsen is a nationally board certified and licensed family nurse practitioner who has an established reputation, dedicated to helping clients solve complex medical problems.  After 15 years of experience as a registered nurse in the Medical/Surgical and Cardiac ICU Kellie decided to change her focus to prevention and reversal of disease.

She then Graduated from the University of Utah Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She continues her passion of helping clients discover the root cause of their symptoms and achieve better quality of life. 

She has a very broad medical experience in cardiology, treatment of diabetes, pediatrics, and mental health. 

Kellie enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and three children. She is an avid gardener who can change anyone's mind about loving veggies!

 

Schon Knowles, DNP-PMHNP-BC 

Schon is a board-certified and licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He holds six years of experience in the Psychiatric field with a background in both inpatient and outpatient care. With honors, he received his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Idaho State University.  

One of Schon’s greatest passions is suicide prevention. As a certified QPR instructor, he firmly believes in educating the community on how to intervene and prevent suicide. By equipping individuals with the necessary skills, Schon aims to create a supportive network that can save lives. 

Schon is a highly skilled professional who specializes in managing a wide range of mental health needs, including but not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and PTSD. His goal is to empower his patients to manage their mental health through education, medication management and lifestyle adjustments. 

Schon is an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and is welcoming to all individuals and their needs. 

Some facts about Schon: He is fluent in Spanish, a movie buff, sports fanatic (especially soccer, golf, and skiing), DIYer and loves his family.

 

Andie Simons, APRN, FNP-C

Andie is a is a nationally board certified and licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with an additional 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She graduated from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals with a Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2023. She has also been a certified Gut and Psychology Syndrome Practitioner for 10 years.

Andie believes in the holistic treatment of patients and communities and is known as being particularly helpful with digestive, autoimmune, and mental health conditions. She loves treating across the lifespan, with a particular love for pediatric and geriatric patients. She regularly seeks educational opportunities, is at the forefront of understanding the functional causes of disease and will meet patients where they are at on the spectrum of pharmaceuticals and natural healing.

She sees patients as inherently good, views them in their entirety, and has the empathy, knowledge, and sensitivity to treat them as such. Andie believes deeply in a healthcare model that reverses the global epidemic of chronic disease and puts her efforts towards supporting the development of vibrant cultural longevity.

Her supportive husband, 5 children, and 2 stepdaughters keep her laughing, living, and having fun. Andie loves to cook nourishing meals, garden, hike, run, play soccer, read, scuba dive, and spend time with friends and family.
